Old Oaken Bucket

The Old Oaken Bucket is annually awarded as a trophy to the winner of the Big Ten Conference college football game between Purdue University and Indiana University. It is symbolic of collegiate football supremacy between the two major public institutions in Indiana which play it at the highest level, NCAA Division I. The trophy was first awarded in 1925. Purdue leads this series 52 to 25 with three ties. Purdue won the 2004 contest 63 - 24.
